The Gonzaga Bulldogs stayed at No. 8 in the latest AP poll for the third-consecutive week.

In related news, Saint Mary’s dropped down to No. 20 after their loss over the weekend, finding out the hard way what it means to be a top 25 team.

The Zags demolished the University of Washington on Wednesday and gritted out a hard-fought win over Akron on Saturday.

Villanova, UCLA, and Baylor are all receiving first place votes, with the Wildcats taking the top spot by a healthy margin. According to Polltracker.com, the Bulldogs are ranked by voters as high as No. 4 and as low as No. 11, the same spread as last week.
