Senior Corey Kispert out of King’s High School signed the dotted line today and is now officially a member of the 2017 recruiting class of the Gonzaga Bulldogs.
The 6’6, 215 pound forward will bring a wing mentality that has often been one of the few holes consistently showing in the Gonzaga roster over the years. Kispert is noted for his shooting ability, and has helped lead King’s High School to consecutive Washington state 1A championships.
Kispert averaged 23.9 points, 6.8 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 2.3 steals per game as a junior.
He has also gotten a boost as of late, with Scout.com increasing him to four-stars, and ranking him as No. 72 nationally.
As an added bonus, Kispert also kills it in the class room, where he currently sports a 3.96 GPA.
Says coach Mark Few in a release:
“Corey will be a great addition to our program on many levels. He is a high character guy from a great family, who also comes from a program that is used to winning. He has great size at the wing spot and can really shoot the ball with deep range. He will fit in well with the young players currently in our program.”
