In case you missed it last night, the Gonzaga Bulldogs had a great win over San Diego State on Monday, winning 69-48.
This time around, defense was the name of the game. The Zags switched to a zone defense early and it gave San Diego State fits. The Aztecs scored just 0.69 points per possession.
On the offensive side for the Zags, things were hit and miss. Nigel Williams Goss, Johnathan Williams, and Silas Melson all struggled to score. They were more than backed up by Jordan Mathews, Zach Collins, and Killian Tillie. The depth was on full display last night, and it is incredibly hard not to get excited about the potential of this squad.

The Zags next game is against Bryant University on Friday, Nov. 18.
