Photo Gallery: Gonzaga practices, talks to media at Sweet 16 in Houston

The Bulldogs got familiar with the scene at NRG Stadium today...

One of the downsides of being in the South bracket is that the Gonzaga Bulldogs have to play their regional final in Houston's NRG Stadium which is a football stadium converted to hold the Sweet 16. Whereas the Midwest and West regions are being decided in true basketball arenas, the South will be played at a stadium not intended for basketball. Can you tell this is a pet peeve of mine?

Today, the Gonzaga Bulldogs got some time on the court to practice and get used to the environment which is way different than you typical arena as the floor is raised and the depth is much different. That said, both teams have to compete in the arena so complaining is completely worthless.

In addition to practice time, Gary Bell, Przemek Karnowski, and Bryon Wesley addressed the media for a short time along with head coach Mark Few.

Gonzaga will take on the UCLA Bruins on Friday at 4:15pm pacific.
