Bulldogs vs Washington State Cougars coverage
Gonzaga survives (again)! The Bulldogs led by 5 - 15 points throughout most the game, but were never able to put the Cougars away. This was a frustrating game, as the Zags were never really able to get going offensively, outside of Wiltjer's 1st half explosion. While we're on the topic: when Wiltjer is feeling it, he'll shoot from anywhere, and it's hard to blame him. I was raising my voice to complain at him taking bad shots multiple times throughout the first half, and had to choke on my words as he drained ridiculous shots one after another. If we can clean up the sloppy passing and poor decision making at times, along with keeping the relative hot streaks by Melson and Perkins going, this can and will be a dangerous team. Next up: Arizona!
Go Zags!
On to the ratings! Here's how it works:
Two days after this post, we'll compile all of the results of the ratings, and post them in another fan post. As the season goes along, we'll be compiling average player ratings, and listing their ratings by game, so you can see player rating trends and such.
Scale:
- 10: Professional level play
- 9: Very good
- 8: Good
- 7: Above Average
- 6: Average
- 5: Below Average
- 4: Bad
- 3: Very bad
- 2: Abysmal
- 1: I don't know what this would look like. Hopefully no one will earn this rating.
Now that all the technicalities are out of the way, it's time to do the actual rating.
