Just 48 hours after a win over Tennessee at the Battle in Seattle, Gonzaga is back in Spokane hosting the Pepperdine Waves to begin WCC play.
Domantas Sabonis had a career night on Saturday, and the Zags are going to need all of it again to make sure they start conference play with a win. Even though Gonzaga owns 27-straight wins over Pepperdine, the Waves have played the Bulldogs hard and tight over the last couple of years.
Combine that with the fact that a majority of students are away from campus for the holidays, and Pepperdine is looking at a good time for a rare win against Gonzaga.
