People are taking notice of the Gonzaga guard.

People are starting to take notice of Kevin Pangos fantastic start to the season after the senior point guard landed on the Naismith Trophy Men's 50 watch list on Wednesday.

Pangos is one of two players from the WCC on the list, Tyler Haws being the predictable other one. Here a full list of the nominees.

Just a couple days ago, Rob Dauster with NBC Sports listed Pangos as No. 3 in his weekly Player of the Year race, hitting the nail exactly on the head.

We may only be six games into the season, but that doesn't mean that it is too early to talk about just how good Kevin Pangos has been this season. It's off the charts.

Previously on this blog, we have also detailed how good Pangos is playing as of late. If he continues this streak, he very well could compete for the top awards in college basketball.

If Pangos makes it all the way to the end, he will be the school's first Naismith finalist since Adam Morrison in 2006. Doug McDermott won the Naismith Trophy last season.
