Poll watch: Gonzaga gets one more point, still locked in at No. 13

Only one top 25 team lost last week.

James Snook-USA TODAY Sports

The Gonzaga Bulldogs received exactly one more point in the first AP poll since the NCAA basketball season started on Friday.

The poll is essentially the exact same as the preseason poll because only one of the top 25 teams suffered a loss over the weekend. Harvard lost to Holy Cross on Sunday and fell out of the poll. Michigan came back in to take its place.

Kentucky stayed at No. 1 despite a shaky first half against Buffalo. Other than that, Louisville and Florida swapped spots for the only movement within the top 10.

The Bulldogs have a chance to gain some ground in the polls with the game against the SMU Mustangs tonight. Next week there is bound to be a bit of movement with the two games of the Champions Classic. Kansas and Kentucky face off in one game with Duke and Michigan State in the other.

Here is the AP top 25.
