The undefeated (!!!) Gonzaga Bulldogs have a short breather after their season opening win as they take on the Colorado St. Rams on Monday in Spokane, Wash.
The Bulldogs were clicking on all levels as they handled the Bryant Bulldogs, 100-76, in the season opener on Saturday. Sam Dower led the Gonzaga charge with one of this strongest games in recent memory, scoring 21 points and gathering 17 rebounds.
The Zags will face a stiffer test in the Rams on Monday. The Rams have been to the NCAA Tournament the past two years, although they graduated their entire starting lineup last season. They are led by former Mountain West Conference Sixth Man of the Year Daniel Bejarano and return a stable of players that will help them compete in the conference. They were picked to finish sixth in the MWC, which the conference is as good as it as last year will put them right on the cusp of the NCAA Tournament this season.
