Gonzaga's Elias Harris Selected To Wooden Preseason Top 50

The senior forward is looking to pick up where he left off a season ago...

If you have been around this blog for any amount of time, you will know that we are incredibly high on Elias Harris' prospects for the upcoming season. Not only has Elias been a consistently stellar performer throughout his career at GU, but he, for lack of a better phrase, is peaking at the right time. During the second half of last season, Harris was a double double machine. Even though national pundits will write the same "he has regressed since his freshman season, blah blah blah", Gonzaga fans know the truth. While Elias' excitement factor may have decreased since he came in as a freshman, there is no doubt that he is a significantly more complete basketball player.

The Wooden Award voters have selected Harris on their watch list and, to be totally honest, I think he has a legit shot at the honor. Below are the rest of the guys on the watch list:
