Tuesday's Link Lineup

The more highly you get ranked...the more press you are bound to get.  Here are a few articles that caught our attention from around the web.

More Mark Few to Oregon talk...Seattle PI

Should Kent fail to survive this season, expect the obvious for rumored replacement candidates, starting with Gonzaga's Mark Few (an Oregon alumnus) and Portland State's Ken Bone (100 miles away and cheaper).

Oh wait...maybe he is going to Arizona...Arizona Daily Star

The only question is whether Few ultimately decides to chase the brass ring at an elite program, where he might have even better recruiting leverage and facilities. Three key Gonzaga players leave after this season, so now could be a good time to go.

A very interesting ranking of student sections in college basketball.  Apparently the University of Washington has a better student section than Gonzaga and the best in the Pac-10...I feel like Oregon would have something to say about that...CollegeHoopsNet

8. Gonzaga - Bulldog fans have one notable trademark: "Support the ‘Stache."  This of course refers to ‘Zags great Adam Morrison who sported the pencil-thin mustache.  Students honor him by wearing fake mustaches to all home games.  Students also live up to their Jesuit academic reputation by doing thorough research on the opposition, checking GPA, police records, etc. to come up with original chants against their WCC brethren.

No doubt in anyone's mind about who the WCC Coach of the Year will be...Mercury News

Scanning the WCC standings last night and seeing Portland alone in second place … one game behind Gonzaga, one game ahead of St. Mary’s and two games ahead of San Diego … it occurred to me that Pilots Coach Eric Reveno is the top candidate for WCC Coach of the Year honors.

Who would have thought Gonzaga-Portland would be a "game to watch"

If Gonzaga is going to be stopped from winning an eighth consecutive West Coast Conference regular-season title, it appears the only team capable of that might be Portland. The Pilots are a game behind the Zags after routing Saint Mary's Saturday.

The Bleacher Report has went on a Gonzaga binge over the past few days.  Here is the link where you can find all their recent articles.  The only decent one is the one discussing the five keys for Gonzaga success.  Everything else is pretty run of the mill.
