It's amazing.
I feel as though we have been waiting ages for tomorrow's Gonzaga-Michigan State match up and now that it is on the horizon, I'm not sure if I'm ready! The game is one of the jewels of ESPN's College Basketball Tip-Off along with the Kansas-Memphis game right afterwards. 24 hours of wall-to-wall college basketball coverage is what we will have come Tuesday and it should be a great day with some fun teams mixed in. I know the butterflies are already in full effect for me so without further embellishment, here is some news for the day and one site of interest:
- The Only Colors - Blogging MSU football and basketball since . . . well, April
Even though the Spartans just became bowl eligible, expect The Only Colors to have great coverage of the Gonzaga-Michigan State match up. Make sure to check them out as we get ready for tomorrow's game.
- College Hoops Tip-Off Marathon - ESPN
Gonzaga-Michigan State will be a featured game on ESPN's College Hoops Tip-Off Marathon. The Spartans and Zags have a great timeslot compared to the 4 AM Eastern tip off between Hawaii and Northern Colorado. St. Mary's is also taking part in the celebration and will have a wonderful 11 PM local tip off time in California. It's fascinating what ESPN can pull off and what people will do.
- Andy Katz: 24 things to watch during 24-hour marathon - ESPN
Andy Katz of ESPN.com checked in with a few things to watch on this glorious day of basketball. Here's one:
7. The top foreign starter you may not know: Gonzaga's Elias Harris. The German national flew under the radar during the summer. He played on his national team but didn't get much pub stateside. Harris started his college career with 18 points in Gonzaga's opening win over Mississippi Valley State. Expect him to be a major player for the Zags against Michigan State.

More love for Elias from FOX Sports' Jeff Goodman, some pretty great company:
TOP DEBUTS: Xavier Henry wasted no time making an impact at Kansas with 27 points in the rout over Hofstra, and fellow freshman Keith "Tiny" Gallon had 18 points and 15 boards in Oklahoma's easy victory against Mount St. Mary's. Gonzaga's Elias Harris had 18 points and seven rebounds, Kentucky's Eric Bledsoe finished with 24 points, Brandon Paul scored 22 in his first game at Illinois and Michigan State widebody Derrick Nix pulled down 14 boards in 15 minutes.
