The Canadian U-19 team saw their championship dream end in New Zealand at the hands of the United States, 93-73.
It was a must win situation for Canada in the FIBA U-19 World Championships. Behind a terrific performance from Mangisto Arop, Canada defeated Argentina 67-57, and with the victory, secured a match up against Team USA
Canada will continue to play on in the FIBA U19 Tournament thanks to Gonzaga commit Kelly Olynyk.
In day 4 of the FIBA U-19 tournament, it was a 4th quarter collapse that doomed Canada to another loss. Mangisto Arop was brilliant yet again, but unfortunately, Kelly Olynyk is yet to find his stride in this tournament.
Earlier tonight, Mangisto Arop and Kelly Olynyk began their quest for a FIBA U-19 World Championship. While Team Canada stumbled to a loss against Australia, you certainly can't blame Mangisto Arop.
