Forest fire rages in San Diego

A scorching fire raged through San Diego last night and it was called the Arizona Wildcats. The fire was so intense that it laid waste to the dry and brittle defenseless forest known as the Gonzaga Bulldogs. The fire ran over the woods like a runaway train fed by the woods own waste. Although the fire decimated the forest and it appeared to destroy everthing in it's path, among the smoldering ruins a massive towering tree seemed almost untouched by the carnage.A formiable structure that stood as a sole beacon of light among the dark devastation. This tree we are told was not indigenous but transplanted from across the sea. A european species, a polish sprout, that struggled but has now taken root. A structure that has listened to the lessons of forest and has become stronger everyday. Yes, A fire has ransacked the forest to almost extinction but every forest fire no matter how intense and vast brings rebirth and renewal. A process which reveals and rewards strenght. A transformation to a stronger, more durable and resilent forest. This fire will bring a transformed forest with a polish tree that will cast its shadow deep into the "ides" of march
