I am trying to start this discussion here because I am having difficulty finding relevant information regarding the match-up between the Zags and the Shockers. Also, this site seems to be virtually troll-free as opposed to the ESPN "conversation" forums. However, I did find an article which announced that the players to watch for on the Shockers are in their front court. They have a handful of players who are at least 6'8", starting with Cleanthony Early and Carl Hall, two seniors whose length can alter shots, and can provide scoring on second chance opportunities. Those two are also the top two scorers for Wichita State. Also, while the Shockers have one player at 7'0" in Ehimen Orukpe, he isn't that big of a player for them. It sounds like even though the Zags will have the height advantage down low, it will still be a severe rebounding battle throughout the entire game. Apparently, the Shockers were out-rebounded in only one of their losses. It also sounds like the Shockers have the ability to harass our guards quite a bit with their tough defense, and varied defensive schemes. Lastly, the Shockers like to slow down, and control the pace of the game, yet do not have much of an offense. Beyond that, I cannot provide any more specifics regarding the match-up. Any thoughts?
