February 8th we predicted that all we have to do is to win out, and the rest will fall into place.

In a FanPost almost 6 weeks ago (Feb 8th), there were doubters about the Zags ceiling for how high they could get ranked. Some of us kept the faith, hoped and prayed and dreamed that the teams above us in the rankings would begin to lose and that we would "win out". I went out on a limb to suggest that if we did win out, that we could get a 1 seed. It reminds me of Jay Buhner in 1995, when the Mariners were 10 games out in mid August. He told his team in the locker room that they were going to win the division, and that was all they needed, since they already had the talent (Griffey, Buhner, Blowers, Johnson, Edgar, Cora, etc) They had a great run, caught the Angels on the last day of the season, played a one game playoff, beat them, and began a 6 year span of excitement in Seattle. The confidence that this Zags team has shown, along with the toughness, chemistry, coaching, defense, scoring, talent and just flat out winning is amazing. It is now time to say, we can win out, we have a chance to win it all! Go Zags, you have given us a lot of excitement, let's go for a ride into April.
