I know that in many of my post, I'm the voice opposition. Why stop now. I keep hearing that Nunez should start and Coleman needs more playing time. Talking about Few having any balls to play certain guys. Why should they be getting any playing time? Not trying to be rude in any way, but are you in practice? Are they picking up the offense and defensive sets? Are they outplaying the other guys at their position? I hear some keep talking about what they did in high school or at other schools. Just because they played at Big East schools doesn't make them better than anyone on GU's roster. High school isn't D1 basketball. There is a reason some people transfer. It's safe to say that no one has a clue what Nunez will bing to GU. He hasn't had much of a run since high school. I hope the kid just absolutely rips it up. That would be awesome! But as of now he's a unknown quantity to all of us except Few and his team mates. To say that you know more than the coaching staff without seeing him play is a bit near sighted. Coleman has shown some glimpses of late, but he can't play in the half court. He can't shoot at all. He has shown it at Providence and at GU. For his college career he has averaged more TO's then assists. He's shooting a career best 54% from the foul line. He's 21 for 93 from three. He averaged 34 minutes a game last season. He averaged 1 steal a game. He he can't pass and turns the ball over, why would you want him to start over Stockton? If he can't shoot as well as KD, why would you want for him to play over him? He hasn't shown that he can playing the half court. You may not like the line up, but his skill set doesn't garner major minutes as of now. I think it's clear to see that he hasn't shown it in practice either. In college you earn your minutes in practice.
