I still say that the great separator between all these solid teams in the NCAA are significant road wins. I would argue that there have been only a couple of these nationwide so far this season. This week Wisconsin beat Indiana on their home floor for arguably the biggest win this year nationwide. Even Marquette's road win last Saturday at Pitt was big. Michigan won this week at Minnesota and earlier in the year Minnesota won at Illinois, to start their annual free-fall, and at Florida State.
Using this measure, maybe GU's biggest win of the year was at Santa Clara. They were at home and flying high and a more than formidable opponent. Today is bigger. Chance for a signature road win.
Here are some games of note for today. I'm going to go out on a huge limb and pick all the home teams except Butler. I got GU in that one. Have fun! What a day!
