Isaiah Bailey 2014 SF

Just saw a tweet on TSSF that Gonzaga has offered Isaiah Bailey, a very explosive SF out of Compton CA. Bailey is a 6'5 175 lb prospect that plays AAU ball for the Compton Magic.

Throughout the last few years it has been no mystery that GU has struggled to find consistency in the wing position. Finding a player that can solidify that role for the future has been a priority for the staff for the next couple recruiting classes, along with bringing in a talented backourt to take over when Pangos and Bell are gone.

I don't know much about Bailey, but from what I have read he is one of the fastest rising prospects in the west. He has been offered by UNLV,SDSU,GU, and I know USC and Arizona are making him a priority as well.

It may be a long shot, but bringing in a player with his explosiveness and athletic ability is exactly what GU needs at the wing position. The video below shows his athletic ability. It's obvious he likes to get to the rim, but I was equally impressed with his passing ability, he likes to get his teamates involved which bodes well with Gonzaga's style of play.
