Santa Monica, CA shooting guard Jordan Mathews had a great spring and is poised for a breakout summer. Colorado's Rivals.com affiliate recently caught up with him and it appears his stock has risen dramatically recently -------- "When asked what schools are recruiting him the hardest Mathews rattled off Marquette, USC, Stanford, Kansas State, Indiana, San Diego State, Colorado, Washington State and "a lot more". That long list will be a lot shorter about a month from now." -------- A bit concerning that he is no longer listing the Zags as one of the teams recruiting him hardest but July is a long month in terms of scouting and face-time so we will try to wait patiently until August. Jordan and his AAU team California Supreme are not participating this week in any events but will be in Peach Jam next week and then in the Las Vegas live period.
