UPDATE: The Spokesman-Review reported on Wednesday that a decision for 7-foot Polish center Przemek Karnowski could be days away.
Gonzaga and Cal look to be the two main candidates at this point, and of the two, the Golden Bears could have more riding on his decision. Cal is projected to be thin up front next season after the loss of Harper Kamp, and as the roster stands today it will have to rely heavily on slender sophomore David Kravish and true freshmen Kaileb Rodriguez and Kahlil Johnson.
---Gonzaga's pursuit of Przemek Karnowski continues. And it appears some competitors in this race might be trailing off.
According to Adam Rowe of Duke Hoop Blog, the Polish big man will not be making visits to Duke or Kansas. And Slipper Still Fits tweets out that Karnowski is heading back to Poland and making Cal his last visit. The Blue Devils had been making a push for his services, but this would seem to take them out of the running. It would also seem to bode well for the Bulldogs, whom Karnowski recently visited and many have considered the favorite to land him all along.
