Putting A Good Team Away
There is nothing more important for the Zags to do other than to put away a good team. St. Mary's has reached this point of the season largely untested, and it is too easy to bemoan why they are ranked so high. The fact is they put away all the teams the played even if the schedule is easy. The pollsters seem to overlook the Denver game, and view the Baylor loss as a good effort. But while the Gaels have coasted, the Zags play down to every team they meet and never exceed expectations.
If they want to dance in March, the Zags better put St. Mary's away Thursday,

stop talking about schedule strength...
We are in conference play now and have been for almost 2 months. Worry about winning the conference and conference tourney, not who beat who in Nov and Dec. Teams get better or worse between Nov/Dec and March… All that matters is how you finish the season. WCC is strong this year, as evidenced by zags barely beating pepperdine, Smc barely beating san Diego, etc. Please stop talking about the nonconference schedule… No one cares. Worry about schedule strength if u don’t get automatic bid.

Are you trying to say the regular season doesn't matter? Blasphemy!!!!
Nah, j/k….I totally agree, a lot of those games have no bearing on what happens here on out. We are not the same team that beat AZ and Xavier….we hardly look like the team that got owned by the Spartans
I guess we agree
You comment is in agreement, but my point was it is time for the Zags to exceed expectations in a game. Thus far the best they have done is meet them, in the bigger games they fell far short.
Wow, ZAG's Do What They Are Told!
Ok, now Beat BYU at home
