Hey guys. This is my first fanpost so bare with me.

So we all know we've looked impressive after our first 8 games. While we haven't yet played the strongest of competition, it's great to see us comfortably defeat weaker teams we have struggled to do so after the past few years. What's really stood out to me is how dominant we've been defensively and on the glass! In an effort to see how much so, I decided to do a little statistical analysis to compare us with everyone else. What I found was fairly staggering.

Note: these stats come from http://www.teamrankings.com/ncb/stats/. They update over night and include defensive stats so this is usually my "go-to" site. It also only includes stats from games involving 2 Division I schools (so it's not including the LCSC college game) and compares us to all 347 Division I schools.

Offensive stats:

Points per game: 82.6 (9th out of 347)

Scoring Margin: 25.0 (4th)

Offensive Efficiency(points per possession): 1.18 (7th)

Field Goal Percentage: 51.6% (6th)

Field Goals Made per game 30.4 (4th)

Defensive Stats:

Defensive Rebounds per game: 28.1 (12th)

Total Rebounds per game: 44.3 (12th)

Scoring Defense: 57.6 (33rd)

Opponent Field Goal Percentage: 36.4% (20th)

Opponent Total Rebounds per game: 31.0 (20th)

Opponent Turnovers per game: 16.0 (78th)

Steals per game: 9.1 (37th)

Personal Fouls per game 16.3 (78th)

The numbers seem to back up what we've seen with our own eyeballs. This team is very well-rounded and doesn't have many weaknesses! Hopefully we can keep this up as the season progresses and we start to face tougher competition.
