THE SKY IS FALLING IS ZAG NATION! At the start of the season there were people talking about how good this team could be. After nine wins there was fever pitch about the zags. People in the press talking about the final four. Many fans agreed. The expectations were sky high for many. Now after one loss, the sky is falling. They're soft. Not ready for the national stage. What does that even mean? They have been on ESPN six out of their nine games. Does playing and winning the Old Spice Classic championship in Florida count as the national stage? It's funny. After a loss, Few always seems to get out coached. It's only one loss. Don't get me wrong. I get just as disappointed as the next guy when they lose. What I don't do, is expect to win every game. Teams have let downs. Even good teams. Losing to Illinois is not much of a let down. They were undefeated going into the game and won the maui invitational. Did they look bad at time the other night? Yes. Did they get blown out? No. There's over 20 games to go. There are many more games to be played. I don't think that you can use one loss as a barometer for the season this early. Relax and enjoy the show!
