Zags Picked To Finish First In WCC By Coaches

No surprise here but a few moments ago, Gonzaga was selected to win the West Coast Conferences by the coaches. Here is a quick look at the preseason rankings:

1. Gonzaga
2. BYU
3. Saint Mary's
4. Loyola Marymount
5. San Diego
6. Santa Clara
7. San Francisco
8. Portland
9. Pepperdine

Pretty interesting that the coaches chose Saint Mary's to finish behind BYU but both definitely seem to be neck and neck. With likely preseason player of the year Matthew Dellavedova returning for the Gaels, I would have expected the coaches to pick SMC #2 but, as you all know, these preseason polls are meaningless (but fun when your favorite team is on top).
