Serious Question. How can one Sam have all that Dower?
Downy soft hands for any player, let alone a big man. His Dowerfulness greatest Dower is that he is not confined to play only as a 'BIG'. When his Dowerfulness gets the ball many Zag fans feel the same way they felt when Morrison caught the ball, "Shoot!"
His Dowerfulness is obviously the true starting center for the Zags. Don't get me wrong, Sacre is one of my favorite all time players at Gonzaga for so many reasons, not the least of which is his temperament (overall sense of humor and friendship/bond with the common man).

Beautiful player
when he is on, it looks real easy…I like him down low, but the smooth stroke from outside can’t help but remind you of Sam Perkins..and I know I am far from the first to make that comparison.
Totally agree
He really reminds me of Sam Perkins — especially his outside shot.
They do differ however, I think Dower might be a better shooter when all is said and done. He really is a scoring machine!

By next year
I see his game resembling a hybrid between Durant and Garnett.
Garnett for sure!
His Dowerfulness does not have the athleticism of Durant. As much as Durant has it all, I still prefer to watch a player with an excellment command of finess over a playerthat uses strength to score (no one likes a dude that goes too hard to the hoop – lookin at you ladies). This basketball not football, this Gonzaga, not Wash State.
Long story short, His Dowerfulness has finess in spades!
By the time he's a senior
people will say “Kareem who”? Then Dower will posterize Dwight Howard in his first NBA game.
Starting
He certainly could be our starting center this year but, I like having him come off the bench. Sacre has hit a bit of a slump since his very strong start to the year. I don’t think that means it’s time to sit him though, even with Dower’s amazing play. The next two years Dower will be our starter. Right now with Sacre starting we have the veteran leadership we need on the floor. Especially with our talented but inexperienced backcourt. I forget the numbers but just before the Xavier game ESPN had a graphic showing the number of combined starts for Lyons and Holloway (in the hundreds) and Bell and Pangos (17 I believe). We need someone who has all the experience of Sacre out there with them. It’s a blessing that we may have a more talented player coming off the bench. Sacre and Dower on the floor at the same time would be a matchup wreckingball for almost any team in the nation.
Sacre's slump
coincides with his dislocated thumb, so I’m not worried (assuming it heals quickly).
Sacre
he just pisses me off. He moves like a robot, and it’s been proven that no robot has a vertical greater than 6 inches
Slump?
The “slump”, as well as the reason he is going to the charity stripe so often, is that the defenses are focused on him and are frequently double teaming him. (Though I certainly agree that the thumb seems to have affected his shooting.)
This is OK, as this is one reason that Dower and the guards are getting better shots.
Well rounded
When Dower is on he is amazing, he can hit from anywhere on the floor and he has a knack near the rim…He definately has a different skillset than Sacre and provides a different challenge for opposing teams…
So yes having Dower and Sacre on the floor would be a nightmare when they are on…

anywhere on the floor
as long as it doesn’t involve going to the right.

I love Sam Dower, but truth be known...
He looks like a discombobulated bucket of bones, when he goes through his pregame warmups.
He is very uncoordinated, which I found rather shocking, and surprising. Don’t believe me? Pay attention next time during pre-game warm ups.
Final 4 or Bust!!~
maybe...
but that…drive, hesitate, spin dribble..get the D player on his hip , turn and pop was a thing of beauty…..and it was all predicated on him going….right.
If you don't like my fire then don't come around...
Hey, I'll take it
I’ll take an uncoordinated guy who is unstoppable going to his right any day over a plain ol uncoordinated one.
People complain that he can only go to his right. He can also pick & pop and now that the word is out on the rightness, they still have not been able to stop it. So yeah…I’ll take it, gladly.
