I generally support coach Few on this site... We are lucky to have him. Our success from such a conference as the WCC is rarely duplicated...Still, I have TWO burning questions for coach Few...

1... Why don't you emphasize perimeter D...I know, I know, I have been a fan for 25+ years... in the years following the "Cinderella run",, It seemed like Big ten teams took us to the wood shed annually in the paint; 2000, Purdue had 20 offensive rebounds, and most of remember Zach Randolph, not only making fun of Dan Dickau's name, but killing us down low in the third round.. I believe we overreacted... positively, we generally recruited more athletic big men, capable of controlling the paint,,, negatively, we seemed to adopt an "inside out" philosophy on D, daring teams to beat us with the 3... They have. Routinely. Why do you pull players after one bad pass or shot, but let them remain in the game after lackadaisical, hand in the air, but two steps too late perimeter d? Elite teams like Butler, and half the Big East, have proven, if you emphasize it, you can control the perimeter. GET REAL, IN MORE THAN JUST LIP SERVICE. 2. I love Mike Hart.. I also love Mathis Keita.. I have reviewed my limited tape.. I know you see them in practice, and know more than any fan can pretend to about all your players. I fail to see why Keita couldn't have been a more athletic, more effective, "high defense, high motor" type game changer..
