OH NOOOOOOO!~

Today is Friday the 13th!! The day of witches, broomsticks, black cats, and general bad luck. To most people it is all rather silly, but to many it is very real.

If you are afflicted with the fear of Friday the 13th you are not alone. The Stress Management Center and Phobia Institue in North Carolina esitmates that between 17 and 21 million people in the United States have a diagnosable phobia of Friday the 13th. The illness is more properly known as "friggatriskaidekaphobia." It’s pronounced "fri-gah-tri-sk-eye-de-kah-fo-bia."

The word, a portmanteau, means a person is afraid of Friday the 13th. Triskaidekaphobia is the fear of the number 13, and friggaphobia is the fear of Friday...If you put them together and you have friggatriskaidekaphobia.

Now, I for one have never been afraid to walk under a ladder or break a glass window. But I AM curious about whether or not this dreadful day is something ZAG fans should fear as it relates to our team. You will be surprised at what I found out.

Gonzaga has never played a game on Friday the 13th but they have played games on the 13th, and many of them.

What does this all mean, exactly? I duhno....but I will say that apparently the 13th is a very, very, lucky day for ZAG Basketball!!

UW game

For the life of me I just can’t see why UW wouldn’t want the game, they rarely get national tv exposure and I think the rivalry is potentially the best in the western half of the country.

I think when it benefits a Romar team that's loaded,

I don’t mean with wife beaters or underaged girl chasers or cheaters but you know, real BB players, then we’ll get back to those games.

Oh yes, has anyoneone noticed how many other ethnic BB players other than Blacks have been recruited by Romar in the past 6 years? Hmmmmmmmmmm? I guess there just aren’t any others in the world? Don’t get me started on that guy!
