I am quite interested in our schedule for next year. I'm looking for confirmation via Zach or whoever can give me sources that indicate set games for next season. I'll list out games that I think we could have, and I hope for a nod one way or the other.
Probable games:
vs Arizona: Battle in Seattle, confirmed.
vs WSU: I believe the home and home is still on.
vs Michigan State: We went there in November 2009, and I know they agreed to come back to the Kennel. I believe Few said: "year after next" in reference to the MSU return trip, but I have heard 2012 as well.
vs Notre Dame: I thought I heard this was a home and home series, could be the game to be played at Spokane Arena if the return trip is indeed this season.
@ Oklahoma State: I remember hearing about a trip back to Stillwater.
@ Xavier: What kind of legitimate program comes to the Kennel without home and home deal? I assume we will be heading to Cincinnati.
Less probable...
Baylor: I have no idea if they signed for a return trip, can't see them leaving Texas again in the 2011 calendar year.
Butler: I heard we almost had a multiyear deal struck before this season but it didn't pan out. Did we get it together for 2011-on?
Illinois: That was a good series for us, but I haven't heard of it continuing.
Memphis: I heard that the series was "all but over" but didn't hear confirmation after the game with them this year.
Washington: Knows we are superior to them, and therefore refuse to play us. Cutting off the series with us was one of the biggest admissions of inferiority to a rival in sports history.
This could turn out to be a nasty 2011-2012 campaign. Two games with BYU and the small chance of another WCC team being respectable could have us finishing with our best Strength of Schedule ranking ever.
