Earlier in the season I saw Jimmer play against Creighton University. With some ferocious defense by point guard Antoine Young and numerous double and triple teams, CU was able to hold Jimmer to 5-15 from the field and 13 points (his lowest point total of the season thus far). That being said, Brandon Davies lead a balanced BYU scoring effort with a career night of 23 points. Luckily for Zags fans, Davies has been excommunicated from his basketball team.

In light of Davies being gone, will it be enough for Gonzaga to focus solely on shutting down Jimmer?

I'm almost certain Meech will be the lucky one guarding JF. Will Meech be able to contain him?

Finally, if we can't contain Jimmer Fredette, can the Zags still grind out a win Saturday?

I pray that they can and will. Hopefully after Saturday night another Jesuit university will not have fallen to the BYU Jimmers! GO ZAGS!
