A little over a month ago I posted a poll asking if hope still existed for this team.  For the 24% you who joined in believing that this team, no matter how big its struggles are, is magical.

So much needed to happen for us to be here (St Mary's loss, win conference tourney, etc); it all happened.  It's got me eating my words (happily) when I told friends that their season was over.  Yet, instead of finishing in the middle of the WCC, we were co-conference champs and conference tourney champs.  We aren't limping into the tourney as I expected, we are just hitting our stride.  Seems everybody is heating up.  

Then to add to the magic, we got what I think is a hell-of-a draw.  Two teams without key players within driving distance of home.  I am predicting sweet sixteen.  The question is do you believe the slipper still fits?
