Steven Gray Erratic Play is the Problem

First he made the huge mistake of telling ESPN that his acting training taught him how to flop--ref's are not stupid and they watch ESPN. The Santa Clara game was a perfect example of Gray trying too hard to get a foul call and instead turning over the ball or getting a charging foul.

He lacks patience and clearly makes us realize just how valueable Matt Bouldin was to last year's team. Leave Gray at the 2 guard and use Stockton and Carter at point. Sorry Goodson, you turn it over way too much and the opposition is not afraid to let you shoot from the perimeter.

Win 4 and the zags can salvage their season which is amazing given the ups and downs of this season. They could also levy a major payback to the Gaels for last year's derailing upset in the conference tournament. Either way, it is hard to see how more than one team comes out of the WCC this year.
