So I'm watching the St. Mary's San Diego game and I have to write about this. I'm getting sick and tired of watching the Gaels flop around during almost every defensive possession. I began to notice this when we played them the first time and I have seen a few more of their games here and there and it is absolutely absurd how much they do it and actually get the calls. Watchin the game on espn2 and I saw and San Deigo player, can't remember his name, just lower his shoulder and barely, I mean just grazed Mitchell Young who had left his feet on a pump fake and then the minute he had made contact with the San Diego player, he hit the deck. He honestly looked like a WWE wrestler; that's how fake it was and he got the call. Young isn't he only culprit. His brother in arms as I have seen who do it the most is McConnel. I don't pretend to know a lot of about basketball  and might be just upset because we are outside looking in at the Gaels, and outside of the ZAGS I watch very little of the rest of the NCAA, but I can't believe how bad the refs in the WCC are. I've seen some posts here and there or game day comments on the way the refs in our conference call the games so I don't want to be repetitive, but it's just ridiculous. I'm from Long Island if you couldn't tell by my name; I know, how are you a ZAGS fan, but that's for another day, so I see my fair share of big east and acc games and there is so much more contact and an actual flow to the game because the refs let a lot of it go and let the big boys play down low. Sacre and Harris play with a physicality that is encouraged I would say everywhere in the country, but the West Coast Conference. There are times the two lower their elbows and throw a shoulder too much, but as I see it, they are playing hard and tough basketball. It's annoying when the refs take the fight out of them and our low post game because of flops by the Gaels and the rest of the league for that matter. I apologize if this post is one of the bad posts that we have recently spoken about, but just had to vent. I really hate the Gaels and our refs are getting on my nerves. I know we can't change our refs so this point is moot, but I thought I'd give it a shot. Any thoughts.
