Khem Birch leaves Pitt
Khem Birch is leaving Pitt for personal reasons. Khem is from Montreal and was a prospect for Gonzaga ( i think ) Now that he has left Pitt at this time of the season could he be in a uniform for another NCAA team next year in mid December? I also thought i read last year that Khem and Pangos were friends. Could it be possible that Khem could be another North of the border recruit in the future? I'm sure Khem will be somewhere next season, why not Gonzaga? I hope Kevin Pangos has Khem on speed dial = )

That would be nice
After all where is the Zags 2012 low post recruit? Right!
Hey KP give Khem a call!
This reminds me and should remind us all....
that not every basketball player is best-suited for a “big-time” program. Some players and people would be better served living in a smaller community and playing for a smaller school in a lesser league. Remember the story of Larry Bird dropping out of Indiana Univ and thankfully eventually transferring to Indiana State. The rest is history. Think how close we all were to not seeing Larry Bird. It was not a guarantee that he would go elsewhere. As the story goes, he started working for the maintenance dept in French Lick. (trash pickup)
Maybe this is the kind of player GU should really be going after. Maybe GU could be the perfect place for Birch.
