Is 'Guy' pronounced "Gee" like the French?
or is it
Guy (like the American / English)?
You know the announcers will butcher his name for a year or two but we should at least be able to get it right.

It's pronounced Ghee with a hard G like in French.
Actually, Hard G wouldn’t be a bad nickname for Guy.

I'd call him Gee,
as in Guy Demaupassant, since he’s French. If he were American, I’d call him Guy, as in Guy McIntyre.
