Loved the details from AMMO in this interview, and hearing his side.
He is my all time fav Zag. I don’t like all the negative crap that the media has put on him and feel if not for his injury he could have developed into a solid NBA player.
He was a rock star at GU and brought many smiles to my face. I still remember wondering how 1/2 of his shots fell because he was incredible, and clutch. Magic.
I really hope he gets another shot in the NBA, if not, he can still go out on top. As long as he goes on his terms he will be a success.
No matter what the future brings for him regarding basketball, He will always be awesome in my book.
Kick some butt AMMO!!~
Final 4 or Bust!!~
Nice!
Really great to hear he is doing well. I would love to see him in the NBA again, but if not he still will be one of the best remembered Zag.
Yeah, let the know it all sportswriter, and internet sportswriter clown wannabe's write Adam off
I still think he has a run in him,,,
So easy to write people off, because you know so much, then profess joy when they surprise.. “I put my money on the long shots”, too quote the great NYC mogul
True as far as it goes
I wish Adam nothing but the best.
I had hoped that a couple years with the lakers would improve his D and attitude about D.
What little I have seen and heard about him on Red Star is that it’s the same old Morrison — best shooter on the floor and defense is definitely a secondary issue.
If he is going to return to the NBA he will need to do more than just fill it up.
I’m not saying he has to be a defensive stopper but I am saying he’s got to take some pride in his D and be a bit of a force to be reckoned with on both ends of the floor.

This article got me jacked up
I was a sophomore during Adam’s junior year, and I have never enjoyed watching a player more than AMMO. This article reminded me why. I would love nothing more than to see him have a successful comeback in the NBA, but simply seeing the old fire back makes me happy. I always felt like the attempts of NBA coaches to restrain the emotion he brought to the game wasn’t wise, and I think AMMO suffered because of that. Regardless, I’m pumped to see him back and wish him the best.
You may have something there.
I remember a story Magic Johnson told about his first NBA game . . . well here it is:
http://www.myspace.com/video/nba-on-myspace/magic-johnson-39-s-1st-game-as-nba-player/61937577
What the video doesn’t show is Magic’s last comment which went something like this:
Magic shot back to Kareem, ‘if we win every game like this, I’ll be just as excited in the last game as I was in this one’ [sorry couldn’t find the exact statement].
Passion will get you a long way sometimes. Morrison is not alone in that regard.

Sounds like Adam's going to give it another try!
SI says that Red Star is letting Morrison out of his contract. Guess he’s been getting some bites from the EuroLeague teams, but it sounds like he plans to give the NBA another try. Wishing him good luck.
