According to reports Demarquise Johnson has made his college choice. Although he has not come out with his decision he has stated that he narrowed it down to 1 school after doing all the visits and research within the last couple of days.  Q states he will come out with his decision on Oct 22nd.  I have been anticipating this for awhile, the 2012 recruiting class has definately had a down feel, especially after a very highly touted 2011 recruiting class.  Q has stated good things about every school he visited, he could go either way, just a bit of a mystery.  This is my take on it....

Demarquise would provide stability at the wing position for the Zags no doubt, this is something we have struggled with in recent years.  Although we seem to have a road block at that position there is no questioning that we would make room for Johnson.  Saying that, I have a bad feeling that he will choose UW or WSU.  Why- because I feel like he fits the mold of the style of play for both teams very well.  The Cougs have mentioned to him that he could be the type of player that Klay Thompson was for them, very appealing, and UW seems to recruit very athletic players and Johnson seems to fit that system perfectly.  Lets hope he chooses Gonzaga, we will know next week.
