MWC Connection: BYU leaning to the WCC?

I know you guys love talking about this, but it looks like the WCC is on the verge of getting a little bigger.

I think this is Big for the conference

I know that not everyone is on the expansion ban wagon but I have no dout that adding a very good BYU basketball program can only help the conference and the Zags. It will help the RPI of the conference and make it a stronger more maketable league. This should help in TV deals and in recruiting. I wont count my chickens just yet but if it is to happen then I think it will only have a possitive impact on Gonzaga and the WCC.

BUT…the slap in the face remark from the other site…Gonzaga is 10 times more of a basketball powerhouse than BYU!

I don’t know if BYU has all that much to gain if they go independent in football. I hope they come to the WCC. But who really knows? They may be taking their cues from the Longhorns.
