wow

please don’t say the acc team is going to get all the calls

Euro step?

That’s Harris’ move!

by leone on Mar 19, 2010 4:24 PM PDT reply actions

I LIKE THE START

GO ZAGS!!! Put em down by 15 this game is over.

by giantkillerzags on Mar 19, 2010 4:28 PM PDT reply actions

Turnovers

Our friends from FSU weren’t kidding. This is crazy. I’ll take it though.

by zeeehjee on Mar 19, 2010 4:32 PM PDT reply actions

Man...

we’re gonna be in the bonus soon.

by leone on Mar 19, 2010 4:33 PM PDT reply actions

Perfect Mindset!

GO AT ’EM! Nice drive Meech.

by zeeehjee on Mar 19, 2010 4:34 PM PDT reply actions

Almost a perfect start so far.

But this team has had problems with maintaining focus. Grow that lead to 20 by halftime.

by MedZag on Mar 19, 2010 4:37 PM PDT reply actions

What the hell?

They just switched games on me. Wheres the link to the cbs sports player?

by zeeehjee on Mar 19, 2010 4:41 PM PDT reply actions

Damn.

They went to the State game for me. Switching to web stream…

by leone on Mar 19, 2010 4:41 PM PDT reply actions

Damn

Knock that down, Gray!

by zeeehjee on Mar 19, 2010 4:50 PM PDT reply actions

Bad foul.

He’s been irrelevant and it hasn’t mattered. Bizarre.

by MedZag on Mar 19, 2010 4:51 PM PDT up reply actions

Oh man.

That’s the curse of being a Zag fan. There’s no such thing as a comfortable lead. Sigh.

by leone on Mar 19, 2010 4:51 PM PDT reply actions

Gray

He’s so much better when he drives. His worst games are when he just sits out behind the 3 point line and waits for the ball. That was a great play.

by zeeehjee on Mar 19, 2010 4:59 PM PDT reply actions

Damn.

FSU is long and jumpy.

by leone on Mar 19, 2010 5:00 PM PDT reply actions

WonTon tacos from Applebees.

They are freakin amazing. Watching this add online every commercial break really makes me hungry… but alas. Its Friday, and its Lent.

by zeeehjee on Mar 19, 2010 5:03 PM PDT reply actions

Defense

FSU is going to be tough in the second half. Nobody is in serious foul trouble, so I expect all 5 on the court will be aggressive. Alabi has 2. So do Singleton and Snaer.

by zeeehjee on Mar 19, 2010 5:11 PM PDT reply actions

Need to pick up the defensive intensity...

Hopefully Matt’s shots are a sign of things to come.

by leone on Mar 19, 2010 5:29 PM PDT reply actions

Stupid foul

Just give that to them, Rob.

by zeeehjee on Mar 19, 2010 5:31 PM PDT reply actions

And again!

Is there an echo in here?

by leone on Mar 19, 2010 5:37 PM PDT reply actions

just not with that low wrap-around feed pass any more.

by LiveEvil on Mar 19, 2010 5:40 PM PDT up reply actions

Laundry

Looks like I’m going to have to do some tonight. I don’t see my pants making it through this one.

by zeeehjee on Mar 19, 2010 5:40 PM PDT reply actions

Frick.

12 points doesn’t feel like 12 points right now.

by MedZag on Mar 19, 2010 5:41 PM PDT reply actions

Erm..

still prefer Kong over KO.

by leone on Mar 19, 2010 5:43 PM PDT reply actions

Kelly can shoot

For some reason he always defers but hes a scorer, his length and hustle is what I like about him

by bryanablair on Mar 19, 2010 5:45 PM PDT reply actions

I didnt realize Gus Johnson and Elmore looked exactly the same just 20 years apart

by bryanablair on Mar 19, 2010 5:47 PM PDT reply actions

Entry pass to post

from top of key, is a turnover!

by Corey Shank on Mar 19, 2010 5:53 PM PDT reply actions

Oh God.

Why do I even watch Basketball. Keeps taking years off my life.

by zeeehjee on Mar 19, 2010 5:53 PM PDT reply actions

Wings

Get Bouldin and Gray on the wings…

by Corey Shank on Mar 19, 2010 5:53 PM PDT reply actions

We need to keep...

…drawing fouls. And force them to make 3’s.

by Corey Shank on Mar 19, 2010 5:59 PM PDT reply actions

Wellp

I’m going to get up and walk around a bit. I can’t take this.

by zeeehjee on Mar 19, 2010 6:01 PM PDT reply actions

Harris!!

Hopefully that gets us going.

by leone on Mar 19, 2010 6:01 PM PDT reply actions

Matt and Steven...

…need to dribble to FT line and take the mid range shot. Better than a turnover.

by Corey Shank on Mar 19, 2010 6:02 PM PDT reply actions

Fuck.

Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck.

by MedZag on Mar 19, 2010 6:03 PM PDT reply actions

by leone on Mar 19, 2010 6:05 PM PDT reply actions

by bryanablair on Mar 19, 2010 6:06 PM PDT reply actions

I CAN BARELY BELIEVE IT!

by MedZag on Mar 19, 2010 6:23 PM PDT reply actions

I can't complain

Of course we would almost blow an 18 point lead, but its the NCAA tournament so I’m not going to write an essay complaining. Great job advancing Zags….. We can beat the Cuse…

by 1AndDone on Mar 19, 2010 6:38 PM PDT reply actions

Onuaku

Apparently hasn’t even been able to exercise on a stationary bike yet…I think Cuse is in BIG trouble without him.

by AlwaysaZag on Mar 19, 2010 6:46 PM PDT up reply actions

I wish

But I don’t think so. They have another 4 guys who average in double figures. He’s great, but they aren’t losing his complete production. They are losing his production minus what his replacement will produce. They have so much talent that they won’t be in ‘big’ trouble.

But it will definitely be nice not having to deal with his 100% self.

by zeeehjee on Mar 19, 2010 6:51 PM PDT up reply actions

just saying...his replacement is a freshman...

and they have a 7 man rotation, get them in foul trouble….and well let’s just say I feel a lot better about the game with him OUT!

by AlwaysaZag on Mar 19, 2010 7:03 PM PDT up reply actions

7 man rotation

Didn’t realize they were using so few guys. Early foul trouble could change this game.

They look like they are clicking now, though.

by zeeehjee on Mar 19, 2010 7:36 PM PDT up reply actions

This season

we have beat teams from the Big 10, Big 12, Big East, Pac-10, and now ACC. Let’s put another Big East team on the list.

Syracuse Zone

3 point shooters need to show up…dribble drives for mid-rangers.

by Corey Shank on Mar 19, 2010 7:10 PM PDT reply actions

4 plus 1

four in double digits and Meech w/ 9;
Harris w/ 13 and two blocks, (last one stopped FSU’s momentum, leading to Meech’s FTs sealing the victory);
Bouldin great second half 14 of 17 pts, nice turnaround he had some great assists in the 1st half, but was blocked 2 or 3 times, 1 for 3 from the line, 2nd half 4-6 from the line & 4/7 from the field, 8 boards and the clutch steal off the inbounds to seal the victory;
Sacre you were the beast, 13 pts and 9 rebounds; bench was quiet w/ the exception of a few key scrap plays, we wil need you to step up to beat Syracuse, when you are open take the shot, that is what you are there for.
