I also kicked out Gonzaga, even though it beat Santa Clara and San Francisco. But I wanted to make room for Oklahoma State, and somebody had to go. I thought about kicking out BYU, but I opted for the Zags. I would have kicked the Zags out of last week's ballot because of that loss to Loyola Marymount, but I only needed to make room for one team last week, and kicking out Wake Forest accomplished that. But now I need the room, so bye bye Zags. But again, don't be surprised if they return to the ballot next week should others stumble.

His smugness bugs me

How many hours of Gonzaga basketball do we think Mr. Berman has seen all year. I’m betting on the 2-4 range.

Smugness is one thing

but where’s the basketball analysis? They lose to LMU and are still top 25-worthy, but when they win 2 games they’re not? My 7 year old nephew gives better explanations than this schmuck!

If they [the Zags] could have only one quality, the quality to be able to win is not a bad one ~ Mark Few, 2005-2006

And isn’t the Roanoke the beast that Luke Skywalker fights in Jabba The Hut’s lair early on in Return of The Jedi.

Motivation

Im sure players don’t read this stuff, but I think this should be posted in the Zags locker room for the rest of the season.

Moron.

Good thing is it’s obviously EastCoast bias. Doesn’t surprise me that I’ve never heard of him.

There must be a lot more just like him, I see we didn't move in the A.P.

Was HOPING to move up two spots. Feel the need to seal the deal on a 5 seed and help cement Spokane.

Still remembering being #6 a few years ago and getting shafted with a #6 seed…

**I see this Berman guy had a couple of nice “comments” left for him on his site…LOL!

Its gonna be gLoRiOUS!!~

Where the f' is Roanoke?

(I know it’s in VA, but I had to look it up.) I feel like if I’ve never heard of a place their writers shouldn’t get to vote.

This guy

was obviously abused as a child, and now he’s taking out his angst on the Zags.

yeah hate that at the end. I left a message on there also. I live about an hour and half from the newspaper he writes for. ZAGS will just have to beat up on some Virginia team in the tournament then to show him where they belong!

Crappy Paper, Worse writer

I left a comment on the site disagreeing with him, not rude, no bad language and they deleted it. I guess you cannot have a different opinion as the writer otherwise your comment gets deleted.

Think I’ll stick w/ the Coaches Poll from now on since the A.P. allows tools to vote…

writers less important than seed

What this writer thinks isn’t as important as how well they play and where they can end up.

Gonzaga may be better being “downgraded” to a 5 or 6 than a 4 or 3 seed. It will give thema chip on their shoulder, something that the WCC can’t do.
