I swear I did not fabricate this.

After losing to LMU, Joe Lunardi has Gonzaga as a four seed playing in Spokane. Perhaps the sky isn't falling, after all.

since Wisconsin

and other teams in the 3rd to fifth seeded projections keep losing as well;
then a four seed is still in sight

only gonzaga is no longer in control of their destiny.

Bulldogs need to focus on the WCC regular season title for the 10th year in a row, that is what will determine if this is a successful season or not.

Yeah the thing so many people fail to realize is...

JOE LUNARDI HAS NO CONTROL OVER THE ACTUAL BRACKETS.

He’s a guy who guesses for a job. Haven’t we been burned by the selection committee enough times to realize this isn’t possible?

I think we realize that

But Lunardi obviously has a decent enough track record to take him somewhat seriously.

I don’t think we will end up being a four in Spokane but it’s interesting to see a national perspective.

I do not like that draw

Keep Marquette as far away from us as possible PLEASE!!! Yikes, I think we could match up with Tennessee pretty well but Marquette on the other hand is a match made in hell in my opinion. We just do not match up well against a team like that. And as for the 4 seed, I really don’t see it happening. It’s nice to think about but if you really think about it I just don’t see the committee giving it to us. They always screw us so what would make this year any different?

If some of these big conference teams

actually played away from home in non-conference, they would lose to crappy teams just as much. They just don’t play away from home unless they have to so it makes us look worse than it should, those losses could’ve happened to anyone.

Zags wont get 5 seed in Spokane....

Seeds 1-4 are protected and the Zags as a 5 seed in Spokane does NOT protect the 4 seed in the field of 32.

It's not like 5 seeds are sent away on purpose

no one else in the West or NW would beat us to it geographically. They give 1-4’s priority, but how many 1-4 seeds are out West? Zero. We will play in Spokane, I promise.
