St. Mary's at San Diego State tonight~who do we root for?

I needed a lil something to divert my somewhat short attention span away from today's scheduled second MRI of Elias Harris' achilles, so here we go...
Tonight at 7:30 p.m. PST St. Mary's goes on the road to face San Diego State. I have conflicted feelings about this game and who I want to win. Or, even if I should give a rat.
St. Mary's is our hated W.C.C. rival. They pad their pre conf sched w/ cupcakes, and more cupcakes, so they look pretty good sporting a 6-1 record {they lost to BYU by 1 point}. Omar SamHam is no longer there to dislike but... Matt Dellavedova and his mouthpiece looks pretty slimey.
San Diego State beat us by 3 at our place, so do I want them to lose so they can taste defeat too? They are a very good team and undefeated so far at 6-0. I almost would like them to go undefeated so our loss to them it easier to take {barely}.
But...Will our RPI be better if they win or lose? What about St. Mary's? Maybe they need a few losses so they don't actually start believing they are as good as their inflated record would indicate. Taking a peek at their upcoming sched you could see where they may not lose any games until they meet us.
Ok, my mind is made up. I want St. Mary's to get spanked! I want them to lose because of Omar Samhan, even though he is no longer there. I want them to lose because they beat us in the WCC Tourney last year. Omar said he got the last laugh. What he fails to realize is that it is still not over. Besides, that mouthpeice Matt Dellavedova wears has got to go!
So lets have it. Who should lose? Should we even care?

SDSU played well and flat-out beat us. There was no drama or whining, they are simply a good team that did what they do best. I don’t hold any animosity toward them like I do to St. Mary’s. Go Aztecs!

You will never
catch me rooting for SMC. Besides, it is better for GU if SMC does lose to a ranked team that beat us then beat a ranked team that beat us…it would make the team that beat us look worse (not good for us) and it would make SMC look better (still not good for us)
and yes i know we play SMC twice maybe three times…but that only helps us if they are ranked and we beat them…
Besides, SDSU should be too much for them…

I got confused because the question in the fanpost is “who do we root for?” but the question in the poll is “who do you want to lose?” I want Saint Mary’s to do well in general so that we look even better when Steven Gray makes Dellavadova his b**** like he did last year (in game two, at least). Regardless, it’s a moot point — San Diego State won!!
Sorry, I see where that is confusing...
and I did give it enormous thought and contemplation {ok, about 2 seconds} but I just had a hard time saying, Who do you want to win? I just couldn’t do it, lol.
Soooo I went w/ who do we want to lose. I felt much better thata ways. But…..bass ackwards I know.

I hope SDSU beats the tar out of SMC
I hate SMC. I just hope the Aztecs leave enough of a battered carcass for us to have a go when we play them in conference.
If they tear SMC apart, at least throw us a bone. Preferably a juicy one like a femur. Bulldogs like to gnaw on femurs!
