Jeremy Pargo Signs with Israeli Pro Team

It has come across the wire that former Gonzaga point guard Jeremy Pargo has signed on with Gilboa Galil, an Israeli professional team.  Jeremy had worked played his summer ball for the Magic and Pistons and was quite impressive with the Pistons but he has decided to take his game overseas.  Gilboa has struggled in recent years but hopefully the addition of Jeremy can boost the team.

Pargo joins fellow former Zag Micah Downs overseas.  Micah recently signed with a Croatian professional team.  Josh Heytvelt is the only remaining unsigned player from the 2009 senior class.  Many thought that Downs, Heytvelt, and Pargo could all find a home on an NBA team but a few years overseas could prep them for what hopefully ends up as successful careers in the NBA.
