Video Proof: Mangisto Arop Dominates Nike Global Challenge

Like I said a few days ago, the coverage that is coming out of the Nike Global Challenge has been spectacular and headlining that coverage are the folks at OregonLive.com who went as far as to stream the final day's games.  They were also kind enough to reach out to us and put together a phenomenal highlight package for our readers starring future Bulldog Mangisto Arop.  Manny had a tremendous, tremendous tournament for the Canadian team and was one of the main reasons why they nearly took home the title.

The video speaks for itself as Manny is able to drive, dish, elevate and stroke it from the outside.

Will it be possible for Mark Few to keep this kid off the court?  I just can't envision Manny not pushing for some serious minutes this season.

Seriously

I love his shot. Major extension and he seems like he was very in control the entire time. He’s going to get a lot of minutes.

Great jab step!

I don’t know if you noticed but his drive to the hoop with his finish jab step is the first to hit the floor since Dan D. I love it! He looks like a Vet already. Great Post, thanks for the view of the future. That just made my cup of coffee a jab, I mean tab bit better.

Video Proof...

I’ve thought for some time that Bol Kong was going to be the key to this recruiting class but the more I see and hear about Manny and Elias makes me really appreciate the depth of this class. This team is going to be really good and I can’t wait for the season to start.

Manny has great abilities

I love the way he creates room for his jumper. Austin Daye had the same step-fake. He created the shot over two defenders. Great stuff.

Who's he playing against here?

Time will tell folks. Looked to me like he was heads and shoulders above the guys they had on him. If he can do this in D-1 look out! I suspect he’s going to get some serious attention if he has some early success.
