Adam Morrison to get Ring?

So i'm sure someone has brought this up before, but if the lakers win the NBA championship this week then adam morrison will get a championship ring. I doubt the magic are going to come back from 3--1 so it is more than likely that adam will. I just wonder if he'll stay at the lakers for long since he has not played much this year. What do you think? Did leaving a year early affect his NBA career?

Can you believe it?

There is no doubt that Adam Morrison was one of the best college players maybe ever. Some of the shots he made and the way he carried Gonzaga on his back was remarkable. Sadly for him and for Gonzaga fans, his skills have not translated well in the NBA. Looking at guys like Trevor Ariza, it is pretty clear that A-Mo just doesn’t have the athleticism for the Lakers system. I can’t imagine them keeping Morrison after this season unless they lose Ariza in the offseason. It is a critical time for Morrison because he could either toughen up and get himself together or he could be out of the league completely. If that happens, you are looking at one of the biggest busts ever.

The sad thing is...

If I’m not mistaken, this will be the 1st Zag player to win a ring.

Adam

Adam was a catch and shoot guy from his early days in high school. Adam has no defensive skills, lacks the needed strength to create separation in the NBA and really has no other ability to compensate that with. He is what he was, a great college player. He’s a tweener and I don’t see him staying around too much longer. I still love the guy, but he’s just not going to pan out in the Pro’s. I wish him well.
