2009 Commit Sam Dower Begins State Title Quest

The Class AAAA State Tournament in Minnesota begins today and Sam Dower leads the Osseo Orioles into competition as one of the hopefuls to make a deep run.  If you aren't familiar with prep sports, Minnesota high school basketball is particularly strong this season.  The state boasts a number of D1 commits, including five-star Royce White and Wisconsin commit Mike Bruesewitz.  Both players joined Zag-commit Sam Dower on the All-Metro First team.  They will all also be battling for the Minnesota AAAA crown.  Today at 2 P.M. PST, Dower tips off against Apple Valley. 

Dower and Osseo are expected to prevail against Apple Valley with Dower's size and skills being the difference.  We're still trying to figure out if there is any way to watch the games online, so far this site might be a winner but we'll keep you updated about Sam and his progress in state.  We wish him the best of luck.
