Can the Zags return to the tournament glory of way back when? The road to the NCAA Championship starts today with Selection Sunday. Feel free to stop by and share your thoughts throughout the day and during the show on CBS!
This has got to be one of the most interesting tournament selection shows in years. The word snub will likely be used a number of times. Luckily the Zags took care of business so we don't have to worry about all of that!

St. Mary’s got hosed! Just listen to Vitale and Jay “Bias” , I mean Bilas. Arizon and Michigan should bith be in the NIT. East coast “Bilas”, I mean bias strikes again…good luck to all teams east of the Continetal divide. Go Zags!!

Bilas was totally correct that you cant honestly say that Saint Marys challenged themselves this year. Their ‘big games’ against Kent State and Oregon arent big games at all. Kent State is a team that has to win their tournament every year to get into the tourney and Oregon is a bad BIG 6 team. They might as well book Portland State as their big game for next year since they have made the tournament 2 straight years. Ya Saint Marys traveled for 13 games away from home, but they werent playing big time teams in those games.
Just look at the teams win and loses straight up…dont look at their RPI or their record and look at how they have beat. Saint Marys beat Providence, San Diego State, and Utah State. Only Utah State is in the tournament. Arizona beat Gonzaga, Washington, UCLA, USC, Kansas, and San Diego State and 5 of those 6 teams are in the tourney.
If Saint Marys would have at least won 1 of the 3 games they played against GU…AND didnt get blown out by 25 in the conference championship then they would probably get in.

well
its good and bad, you have to be happy because i really dont see how gonzaga wont make it out of the first weekend but then they will have to play undoubtedly the best team in the country when healthy, North Carolina. if they get past unc then i really like their chances of going to the final four because i think they are better than the teams in the bottom half of their region. well it should be interesting

I love our seating. In Portland with two good match-ups. I feel we are peaking at the right time and are ready to roll. Many on other blogs are dissapointed with the Tarheels in the same bracket. I would be so excited to see Josh go against Tyler H, again. Last time Josh frustrated him, both are better now…go Zags
