Michigan State-Gonzaga: This matchup always delivers. Gonzaga was impressive in its loss at the Breslin Center -- especially how physically tough and strong the Zags were inside. Robert Sacre has really improved, and he is now one of the more patient and poised big men in the nation.

Multiple times, Sacre established post position with a foot in the lane or with both feet in the paint. The latter has been termed a "double bury" and essentially means that Sacre didn't need to make a post move because he had already done his work. When he received the ball off the block, Sacre waited for cutters to clear and went to work without rushing, and was outstanding. Combine him with the explosive athleticism and energy of Elias Harris, and you have one of the best post tandems in the nation.

Gonzaga is top-20 good, just really young past the first five. And the Zags are defending and rebounding at a high level, something that the program has taken heat over in past years.

bring the praise

This is a fantastic team in terms of talent, but the inexperience really killed us in that game. Good news, it was early in the season at a very tough venue and we obviously lost as a result of that game being in the Breslin Center. Bouldin was solid, Sacre looked unbelievable, and Gray overcame a rough shooting night by getting to the line and playing hard defense. We had hustle. I like the team’s attitude, offense, and defense.
