The Slipper Still Fits to be Featured on 1510 KGA Radio

1510_medium

We're very excited to announce that we will be joining the fine folks at 1510 KGA, Spokane's premier local radio station, for a second season as the Zags kick off their 2009-10 season on Monday.  KGA has been Gonzaga basketball's flagship station for a number of years now and the 2009-10 season will bring Zag fans more exciting options to get their Bulldog basketball fix.

A season ago, EDZ and I joined Sean Widmer for his rush hour sports talk show during the season and this year we will be joining Toby Howell and Bob Castle on "The Locker Room" which airs from Noon-2 every weekday.  We will be on the air this Monday to talk about the Gonzaga-Alberta match up with the guys at 1:20 PM PT and will probably be there for the duration of the show.  We'll continue to be on every gameday to discuss the ins and outs of Gonzaga basketball.

Our interview during that time will also be re-aired during the pregame show on KGA which will begin two hours before every tip off.  Hopefully we can also work something out for the weekend games with KGA so you can always hear some of our thoughts live and in living color before the Zags hit the court.

If you're not in the Spokane area, we'll try and provide you a link so you can listen to the broadcast across the country.  Last season we were also able to get our audio in podcast version and put it on the site and we'll try and do that again.

Like I said in the intro, KGA is breaking new ground with Gonzaga basketball coverage as they will have extended pre and postgame shows starting two hours before tip off and ending nearly two hours after the final buzzer.  We're very excited to re-join KGA for another year of Bulldog basketball and we look forward to joining the guys on "The Locker Room".

Make sure to tune your radio to 1510 this Monday at 1:20 to hear us talk Zags basketball!
